The art world stood as a standalone entity ever since man was known to create art. But as the art world evolved, this retrospective changed: fashion, Performance, theatre, painting, all blended into beautiful galaxy of dazzling explosion so spectacular, it changed the way the world looked at art. Louis Vuitton, one of the greatest leading fashion brands has teamed up with Jeff Koons for a special "Masters" womenswear collaboration. Works of art belong to museums and fashion belongs to retail shops; who would have ever imagined walking down your apartment with Louis Vuitton, Van Gogh, Rubens, Da Vinci, Titian and Fragonard, poised as Mona Lisa was nearer than your dreams? Louis Vuitton has brought down a major storm in the industry by bringing renaissance paintings to life.

Rubens is one of the great painters Koons has chosen to celebrate in a line of bags for Vuitton. Koons, a notorious appropriation artist, is infamous for turning kitsch images and objects into art, but for his range of handbags, rucksacks and other expensive accessories he is turning great art back into popular culture.

Koons obviously has a savvy and energetic love of oil painting, for while his packs touting the Mona Lisa and Van Gogh's Wheat Field With Cypresses might be simple on our brains, he is additionally valiantly teaching us by insisting on the glamoure allure of Rubens, Titian and Fragonard.

Koons is like an artist himself to be creating or rather translating the art into modern art. These aren't just bags, they are pieces of art and how would you feel walking down the street with a Million dollar painting in your hand?

Koons and Vuitton's collaboration is the first of several, which will be available on April 28 at selected Louis Vuitton stores, as well as a dedicated pop-up at 655 Madison Avenue in New York City.
