Lodhi Art district

Lodhi Colony has always been one of the poshest neighbourhoods of Delhi. The colony has been revamped into a colourful version of gallery art meets street art. Artists have the freedom to pick any wall, any corner and paint their hearts out. A ton of materials have been used and of course, tons of creativity too! Sadly, they do not have more area to experiment up on leading to the authorities stopping artists to fill up the empty spaces. It's a very unique corner amidst the heart of South Delhi where you can spend an entire day without getting bored.

This unique initiative to beautify the walls of Delhi had been taken by Start India Foundation. The Start Foundation looks into various areas with potential for street art and wonderful installations where street artists from around the world can show their creativity and their brilliance. Most of the installations have a meaning to them which is obvious when you see them, and do not need high level deciphering skills.
